Ilan Lev Method
Photos by Anthony Thornton
The Ilan Lev Method is a hands-on 1:1 somatic bodywork practice. In a session, movement is gently sent through the entire body to discover and open blocked areas, improving the system’s communication within itself. It is done in a light-hearted manner, restoring ease to the body and mind.
The method is great for anyone experiencing pain, stress, restricted movement, heightened nervous system responses, or simply with a curiosity to find more space and ease in the body.
"The Ilan Lev Method brings an explosion of movement, life force energy, playful provocation, and joy to the body. This creates the environment in which the body's natural ability to heal itself can arise. We discover optimal range of motion, efficiency of effort, and a new understanding of ourselves, through play."
